I have been a tradesman like my father since a young man, giving me a wealth of knowledge in the building industry. Time after time I have attended customers homes post purchase, who have become unravelled by issues they have come across once they have moved in. A traditional survey is usually carried out by someone who has been been to college for 4 years. In that time they are meant to learn the knowledge that I’ve picked up over a 20 year + career. That’s where my vision arose from. 

Imagine you are buying your first car- who do you take with you? Most of you will take your dad. Why? Because to you, he is a trusted source, he’s probably done this many times, he knows what to look out for, what questions to ask, he’ll probably even do some research on the model as well, you may take a mechanic with you or visit the garage- and then you make a final decision armed with a lot more experience, facts and knowledge than you had before.
